HIKE

We'll begin our journey at boundary springs, the source location of the Rogue River. Located on the slopes of Mount Mazama, we'll hike the river's edge via trailhead over two and half days, or 44 miles, until we are able to put kayaks on the water.

KAYAK

Beginning just below the lost creek dam, we kayak!

We'll paddle the Rogue River 180 miles over the course of four days. One of the most scenic waterways in the United States, the Rogue will present us with beautiful scenery, whitewater ranging from class I-IV, and serene wilderness until we reach the termination of the river at the Pacific Ocean.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We will be staying in hotels/lodges each night. Participants on the trip will pair up and share rooms to best accommodate the group.

All breakfast and dinners will be provided at our places of lodging. All snacks and lunches will be provided, riverside, by organization staff and volunteers.

Once registered, a detailed packing list and itinerary will be provided. Most items will be provided for your trip needs, but you will need to bring clothing and other personal items.

Your $500.00 deposit reserves your spot and enables us to book your accommodations.

THIS IS AN EXPEDITION

What does that mean?

An expedition is a journey or voyage undertaken by a group of people with a particular purpose, especially that of exploration.

Our Source fundraisers are for adventurous donors who are looking to experience outdoor challenges first-hand.

We are doing this for LEAP, but also, as a humbling reminder to experience challenges as a community and to persevere. This is an event organized by and executed with experienced river and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as Orange Torpedo Trips.
