We need volunteers to support us: shuttle driving, gear management, safety watch. We ask that you fundraise or donate $500 minimum to help cover expenses of your food and lodging.

LEAP is a 501(c)(3) organization and our mission is to empower people facing adversity by providing therapeutic wilderness programs.

We are dedicated to helping underserved populations within the community who are afflicted by health issues, emotional and psychological trauma, and social and economic adversity. We believe that there is beneficial physical and emotional healing that can take place in the wilderness when overcoming a traumatic life event.  Our multi-day whitewater kayaking program offers a unique opportunity to use outdoor challenge as a nurturing tool and catalyst for strengthening self-confidence, fostering community support among peers, addressing stress in a positive and natural setting, and introducing a new avenue of joy into our participants' lives.
